Astro Kids Day
Thursday 19th August, 10.30am to 4pm
An open day for the whole family, including planetarium shows in our amazing digital inflatable planetarium (11am, 12noon, 2pm & 3pm), telescopes (weather permitting), Ask an Astronomer/Engineer, cut, stick and colour activities with a planisphere to take home and story-telling for the under 5s. Tickets for the whole day must be booked in advance. Ticket price also includes admission and a 3D theatre show. Refreshments are available from our cafe, as well as plenty of outdoor picnic space.
Ticket price: £7 per adult, £5 per child, under-5s go free, or purchase a family ticket for two adults and two children at £20. Admission to planetarium shows by ticket only.

Road Directions

From A535 follow Holmes Chapel A535 signs to Chelford. Jodrell Bank is signposted.

Public Transport Directions

By rail From Goostrey. Turn right down Station Road to the church in Goostrey village. Turn right at church and follow country roads, do not turn off this road, even though you appear to be heading away from the telescope. The road goes over the railway bridge and the entrance is on the right hand side.
